Nanny’s Responsibilities

Infants and Toddlers

  • Follow correct feeding schedules.
  • Continual diaper changes as needed.
  • Prepare child appropriate meals.
  • Following parents directions for child’s care.
  • Constant attention to child’s needs.
  • Go on walks and to the play ground.
  • Play child appropriate games geared to development and learning.
  • CPR certification
  • Keeping daily diary of child’s activities.
  • Administer medicine as needed and directed.
  • Care for child’s personal grooming.
  • Anything else you want her to do!!

School Age Children:

  • Help with home work.
  • Take children to and from school.
  • Take children to activities.
  • Monitor TV and computer activity.
  • Monitor outside play.
  • Adhere to all safety precautions (helmets, padding, etc.)
  • Have basic swimming capabilities.
  • Prepare snacks and meals.
  • Follow parental directions.
  • Administer medicine as needed and directed.
